Our client is a rapidly growing startup specializing in AI-driven automation software for the wealth management industry. Their platform enhances advisor performance and helps increase assets under management (AUM). Following a successful seed funding round, the company is accelerating its outbound acquisition strategy and seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support its next phase of growth.

Job Overview
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will lead outbound outreach efforts to qualify leads and drive new business opportunities. The role focuses on conducting cold calls, assessing prospect needs, communicating the product’s value proposition, and scheduling demos for the sales team. The SDR will be instrumental in generating pipeline through consistent outreach across calls, email, and additional channels.
Responsibilities:
Outbound Outreach & Lead Qualification
- Execute cold calls to wealth management firms to identify interest in AI agent automation software.
- Qualify leads based on advisor performance needs and AUM improvement potential.
- Schedule appointments for product demonstrations with the sales team.
- Use email, phone, and LinkedIn to generate and qualify leads.
Value Proposition Delivery
- Communicate the benefits of the AI automation software, including advisor time savings and AUM growth impact.
- Present high-level product positioning without going into technical details.
CRM Management & Data Hygiene
- Maintain accurate and complete lead information in Salesforce.
- Ensure all CRM fields are properly updated and aligned with data hygiene standards.
Tech Stack Integration
- Use auto-dialers and marketing automation tools to support outbound activities.
- Participate in ongoing training to master CRM and sales systems.
Collaboration with Sales Team
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads.
- Collaborate to refine outreach strategies and qualification processes.
- Schedule demos for the sales team based on customer interest and needs.
Proactive Approach & Focus
- Maintain motivation to meet and exceed performance targets.
- Deliver high-quality leads and uphold a consistent outreach and follow-up cadence.
Qualifications:
Experience
- 2+ years of B2B outbound sales or sales development experience, preferably within fintech or financial services.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Familiarity with outbound calling and lead qualification processes.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups.
- Organized, independent, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter attitude with a proactive and goal-driven mindset.
- Professional communication style and comfort engaging with international accents.
- Interest in the wealth management sector and enthusiasm for contributing to company growth.
