Job Overview
The E-mail Sales Development Representative will personalize email sequences, engage prospects in written conversations, and build early-stage relationships that lead to qualified meetings. The focus is on outbound email outreach using provided lead lists, starting meaningful conversations with marketers across brands of all sizes.
This role is ideal for someone who is driven, ambitious, interested in growing into a senior sales position, and eager to contribute to strategy over time.
Responsibilities:
Email Outreach & Prospect Engagement
- Introduce via email our client’s value and solutions to the best brands and marketers.
- Execute outbound sales strategy to achieve and exceed targets.
- Provide new and unique ideas on how to engage better and convert potential prospects.
- Ultimately, relate to and build relationships with prospects who want to use and work with our client.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with the larger sales and account management teams to gather insights and refine sales strategies.
CRM & Pipeline Management
- Maintain and update accurate and comprehensive records of client interactions, leads, opportunities and account details within CRM platform.
Qualifications:
Experience
- 2+ years of business development experience, preferably within marketing, tech, B2B, or marketplace environments.
- Knowledge of the digital and creative needs of established and emerging brands.
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with CRMs (e.g., HubSpot), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay, Apollo, or other sales tools.
- Excellent organization and ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment.
- Relationship-oriented, proactive, and data-driven mindset.
- Competitive, motivated, and focused on meeting revenue targets.
- Comfortable using analytics to track performance.
- Driven, passionate, and eager to learn; no deep technical knowledge required.
- Collaborative attitude suited to a startup team environment.
